A native to Maryland, Michelle has also resided in PA, NJ and New York. In her gymnastics career, she traveled to Guatemala with Gymnastics Plus and brought home the silver medal on balance beam. They also traveled to Puerto Rico where she won the gold all around. Continuing on to Rebounders Gymnastics she traveled to Brisbane, Australia and the team performed outside of the U.S. Pavilion at the Worlds Fair Expo 88. Finishing up here gymnastics career she was County Champ for Howard High School and in 1992 placed 4th on the floor, 10th on the bars and 8th all around at YMCA Nationals in Toledo, Ohio. She has spent most of her life training in gymnastics and dance. College bound Michelle studied various fields in early childhood education, Biology, Health Fitness and Wellness and last but not least dance and theatre. She received an A.A. degree for performing arts dance concentration graduating with a 3.57 and part of Phi Sigma Omicron honor society. She has coached compulsory and optionals in a variety of gyms in MD, PA, NJ and NY. She is a USAG professional member with safety certification and a background check. She is also First Aid and CPR certified. She is a great choreographer and has choreographed many gymnastics routines across the states and received compliments from several judges along with choreography for dance recitals and many other genres of dance. She has been teaching ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop along with coaching gymnastics for numerous years and loves every minute of it.
