Tia Bond is a 2007 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where she was part of the All-Girl Competitive Cheerleading program from 2003-2007. With the team from inception, Tia helped her team go from 7th place at NCA Nationals in 2003 to National Champions in 2006 & 2007. Tia began dancing at the age of 5 with Diane Matthews School of Dance in Pennsylvania where she was enrolled in jazz, ballet, tap and hip-hop classes. After 10 years with this school, Tia joined the cheerleading team in high school, cheering with the freshman and JV teams, then working her way up to Varsity her Junior and Senior Year. She choreographed her competition routines from sophomore year until senior year. During this time she was also involved with the Sparkler's All-Star dance team for 2 years which competed in the Jazz/Funk division. Most recently, Tia was a member of the Baltimore Mariners Arena Football dance team from 2007-2010 which she choreographed a few hip-hop routines. Additionally, she was also a member of the Baltimore Blast Indoor Soccer dance team in 2010. She is looking forward to coaching/choreographing hip-hop routines for All Pro Cheer and Dance in the 2011-2012 season.
